All suites and villas are built using local materials in an innovative Balinese design, tastefully combining old and new. Furnishings are custom-made and come from Bali and Java. All fabrics are hand-loomed, dyed and woven locally. A selection of art and artifacts completes the tasteful interiors.
The 5 "Sayan Suites" and 13 "Terrace Suites" are ideally located in the main building overlooking the river valley.


 

The "Sayan Suites" are exquisitely accented with rich teak and Balinese stone. To one side of the foyer is the comfortable living and dining room as well as an open terrace with a raised lounging bed. On the opposite side is the large bedroom, large bathroom, and a wooden deck with teak lounge chairs. The "Terrace Suite" contains an upper living room with spacious sitting, dining and terrace area for entertaining. The lower level features an elegant bedroom, large bathroom, and a terrace area offering stunning views.


You can spend the days sunning or lounging at the resort's large infinity-edge swimming pool next to the Anyang river. There are three boutiques for shopping, and in the "Library Lounge" you can choose from an extensive collection of books, CDs, video tapes and games for enjoyment in your suite or villa. The 3-bedroom "Royal Villa" is located adjacent to the Ayung river and affords a stunning view of the surrounding rice paddies. The two-level villa features two bedrooms (king bed and twin beds) with their own bathrooms and a lounge area upstairs, and the spacious master suite, and an elegant dining and living room are located downstairs on the pool level. The spectacular 470 square foot swimming pool is surrounded by lush gardens.

All remaining 25 one-bedroom villas and two 2-bedroom villas are free-standing with private gardens and are spread through the rice fields and rolling hill side, featuring private pools and total privacy with imposing views of the river valley.

Designed to complement the natural surroundings, entrances are located above each villa complete with lotus gardens and a wooden deck. Descending via a stone stairway you enter the spacious living areas which open to a large wooden deck terrace with private pool and beautiful garden. The elegant bedrooms have spacious bathing areas and their own private terraces. 
 


 

Each suite and villa has a personal in-room safe, dual-line telephone system with computer/facsimile connection capability, stereo CD sound system, a 26" TV set with satellite hook-up and video disc player, air-conditioning, and overhead fans. Expect to find 100% cotton robes and slippers, thick absorbent towels, and a collection of superior quality Four Seasons bathroom amenities.

The resort in Sayan has two restaurants and a bar in addition to 24-hour room service, and you can choose from international delicacies and the ever-popular "Four Seasons Alternative Cuisine" selections. The "Ayung Terrace" is located on the crest of a lush gorge and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The "Riverside Cafe" offers Western and Asian favourites in a casual open-air pool-side setting.
